Welcome to Class 4 with Mrs. Redmond.
Our new topic this term is 'In the news'. We will be looking at up-to-date and relevant information that is hitting the headlines. An exciting term's work ahead.
In I.T. lessons we will be looking at the different elements that make a database and their uses. Through SEAL we will also be looking at internet safety and cyber bullying.
Don't forget to visit the library and research this topic, use the wide range of books in school or use the Internet to research further information. Read as many newspapers as you can at home. Try the links on the school website to help you.
Remember PE on Thursday and Fridays. On both days you need to bring outdoor P.E. kit. Please ensure your child brings their kits as physical activity is an important part of the curriculum.
Reading books must be taken home on a daily basis! Please make sure you listen to your child read at home.
Please remember to bring healthy snacks as we will not allow crisps, sweets or chocolate. Healthy eating is important to our school and we hope it is important to you also.
Please make sure your child is in school by 8:55 as many are arriving late. Punctuality is very important.
